Thanks for exploring FoodWaterShoes, my little nook on the interwebs. My name is Krista Canfield McNish.

FoodWaterShoes is a labor of love. In July 2016, I decided to quit my dream job, get married and travel the globe, “Today I Quit My Dream Job.” So far I’ve traveled to 50 countries and over 400 cities around the world. Fortunately/unfortunately, my bucket list keeps getting longer the more I travel.

As a former television journalist (for NBC’s KDLT-TV) and corporate communications professional (LinkedIn, Gogobot, Horn Group), I’ve always loved sharing interesting stories about people, brands and food with other likeminded people.

Today I’m fortunate to have struck the perfect balance between a life of adventure and working with clients I’m passionate about. In my current day job, as a public relations (PR) and corporate communications strategy consultant, I help startups and businesses of all sizes craft their own unique story.

FoodWaterShoes is a space dedicated to discovering and sharing incredible food, experiences and fashion from around the world.

We hope you enjoy taking a spin around the globe with us and supporting local small businesses.
