In the summer months Portugal can be hot which is why it’s important to have a go-to oasis during those sweltering days. Organic Caffe (which is located inside the fabulous Banyan Tree Spa and Estoril Wellness Center) in Estoril, Portugal provides the perfect respite from the summer sun. Located in Estoril (which is about an hour long train ride west of Lisbon), Organic Caffe serves everything from freshly squeezed juices and baked goods to salads, fish, meat, vegan and vegetarian dishes.

You’ll find dishes like a quinoa salad made with vegetables and drizzled with herbal olive oil (salada de quinoa com legumes e azeite de ervasa) and a delicious homemade granola that is served sandwiched between yogurt and fruit (granola caseira com logurte e fruta).

The Perfect Café to Eat Well and Work From – Organic Caffe in Estoril, Portugal

 

We ended up making multiple visits to the café because the free Wi-Fi, terrific food and wonderful waitstaff made it the perfect place for us to set up our laptop and work away.

You might not guess it from looking at the wide variety of items on the menu, but everything they serve at Organic Caffe is free of sweeteners, dairy and gluten.

One of our favorite dishes is on the dessert menu. Organic Caffe serves a refreshing take on crème brûlée that’s made with kaffir lime.
