You don’t need to be fluent in Thai to know that Saap Ver means damn good. One bite of the San Francisco restaurant’s pad kee mow with spicy flat pan fried rice noodles, basil, bell peppers, bean sprouts and beef will give you that impression faster than you can say Saap Ver.

Just Right – Saap Ver’s Dining Area

Saap Ver is neither too tiny a restaurant, nor is it too big. The same goes for the portion sizes at Saap Ver.

In addition to Saap Ver, here’s a list of other neat little local spots we love across the Bay Area and Silicon Valley.

Dishes like the beef pad kee mow and the barbecue pork and crispy pork belly rice plate are big enough to fill up one person, but not served in such a huge portion as to feel wasteful. Just about every single plate (perhaps with the exception of the soup dishes) lends itself to sharing family style with your dining companions.

Stay Awhile – Service is Fast and Friendly at Saap Ver

As goldilocks might say, Saap Ver is just right. Monday through Friday Saap Ver offers a happy hour which equates to $2.00 off draft beers, wines and well drinks in the bar area from 4:30pm until $6.30pm.

Fun Film Menus Set the Stage at Saap Ver

Whether you’re just back from a trip to southeast Asia and suffering from whole young coconut withdrawal (Saap Ver serves them) or just in the mood for a spicy dish (the chefs here don’t hold back on the peppers), Saap Ver is a wonderful restaurant to consider adding to your grub repertoire.
