What I loved about Rootstock Wine Bar was that I had an opportunity to indulge in a French Châteauneuf du Pape without committing to a full bottle.

You don’t have to be an aspiring wine snob to hob nob at Rootstock Wine Bar. Rootstock also has a great selection of unique beers on tap and some fun brews like North Coast Brewing Company’s Brother Thelonious and Brouwerij Bosteels Tripel Karmeliet available by the bottle. Grub wise Rootstock offers a seasonal menu of cheese and charcuterie boards as well as other small plate dishes, flatbreads, empanadas, sandwiches and salads.

Rootstock’s happy hour menu is offered Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and you can snag $1.00 oysters every Friday and Saturday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Every Tuesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Rootstock offers 50 bottles of wine at 50 percent off of its regular menu price. With a fun ambiance, great specials and summer just around the corner, there’s a fair chance that Rootstock Wine Bar’s beautiful outdoor patio is calling your name.
