One of our favorite local stores to window shop at is Superette. This divine shopping destination has five locations spread across New Zealand, but we paid our visit to Superette’s Wellington digs.

Started by two friends (James Rigden and Rickie Dee) back in 2001, the brand focuses on fashion and lifestyle offerings for women, men and kids. Some of our favorite finds at Superette include covetable bedouin bags from Australian brand The Wolf Gang.

At Superette you’ll also find comfy sneakers from international labels like Spring Court (a Parisian label that John Lennon and Yoko Ono adored so much that they sported matching kicks on their wedding day). Slick purses from Australia’s Status Anxiety label and jewelry from New Zealand based the Stolen Girlfriends Club (we just might be tempted to take a trip back to New Zealand solely just to nab a few of their killer baubles) are also frequently spotted on Superette’s shelves. Superette also has sumptuous home goods from Barefoot Gypsy (based out of Australia) and quirky lighting fixtures from Neon Poodle (also Aussie based).
